Event Information

Plant Based Diet & Alternative Land Use

This event will focus on plant-based diets. What does it mean to consume food and use land in a different way?

The Climate Cafes are a monthly event organised by Aberdeen Climate Action. Each month focuses on a different topic related to climate action and solutions.

The speakers for this month’s session, focused on plant-based diets and alternative land use, are:

Rachel Martin: Everyday Veganism in Family Life

Rebecca Knowles (Vegan Outreach): GHG Emissions, the Plant-based Diet and Repurposing Agricultural Land

Claire Sweeney (Bonobo cafe): Bonobo: the Development of a Plant-based Cafe

This online version of our Climate Cafe will follow the same structure as our face to face cafes: three 20 minutes presentations will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask the speaker questions and participate in the discussion.
