A half-day walking tour on Monday 23 September 10.00 am to 1.00 pm

In 667AD there is the first mention on record of name of a battle between the Ulaidh and Cruithins (Picts)  This walking tour will cover the history from 985 (Viking Raids); 1170s (Early Norman influence), 1500s Tudor Gaelic influence), 1603 Chichester Defeats, Ulster Gaels, Chichester/Donegal Influence, 18th Century Religious and Political Conflict.  19th Century Belfast, world leader in linen, tobacco, shipbuilding leading to its status as a capital city in 1888.  The walk will cover historic parts of old Belfast to highlight its history.  Meet at 1st Presbyterian Church Rosemary Street.
