Climate Café: Projects for Low Carbon in Africa

The Climate Cafe is a monthly event organised by Aberdeen Climate Action. Each month focuses on a different topic related to climate action, research, and solutions.

The three speakers for this month’s Climate Cafe are:

Wes Gibson: Projects in Ugandan Schools: Composting, Wind Power, and Solar Energy

Prof Jo Smith (University of Aberdeen): Keeping the Carbon in African Soils 

Samson Sahmland-Bowling (Open Energy Labs): Universal Access to Electricity Through Education

Three 20 minutes presentations will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask the speaker questions and participate in the discussion.

Details to join the Zoom meeting will be included in your confirmation email when you sign up. You will also be able to watch the event live on the Aberdeen Climate Action Facebook page.

The event space will be open from 6:30, talks begin at 7pm.
