New Publication: Emma Cary

QUADRAT DTP researcher Emma Cary shares a new publication! Emma is a PhD researcher in the Department for Geography & Environment at the University of Aberdeen.

Titled: ‘Rewilding in the British policy landscape. A qualitative analysis of policy documents related to rewilding’, this paper situates rewilding within the national policy contexts of Scotland, England and Wales to assess prospects for future rewilding implementation.

Emma Cary is a Doctoral Researcher in Geography & Environment at the University of Aberdeen. She researches decision-making in UK restoration and rewilding projects, with a particular focus on how different types of knowledge are used and integrated in these initiatives.

Flurina Wartmann is a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Aberdeen and a Researcher at the University of Oxford’s School of Geography and the Environment. Her research focuses on hybrid methodologies to investigate people-place relations and cultural landscape values related to nature restoration and rewilding.
